Tampa Bay ISSA - Unwinding the Complexities of Identities in the Cloud with Aaron Turner; SaaS CTO of Vectra

Please note: This is an in person event *however* we will provide a Zoom Link for those who cannot attend in person. Happy hour details to follow!

Abstract: The rapid migration of organizations to use Microsoft's cloud services such as Exchange Online and Teams forced security teams to make compromises, specifically in lengthening their identity supply chains and sometimes exposing critical identity infrastructure to compromises. In a December 2020 report, the US NSA gave everyone a very clear and dire warning, simplify those cloud identity supply chains or suffer from increasing attacks. In this session, Aaron Turner will review how the NSA's report was prescient in its warning, how organizations have had to react to increasing cloud identity attacks, and strategies for how to reduce cloud identity vulnerabilities.
